In most states, you do not need a referral to see a physical
therapist. However, some insurance plans may require a physician's
referral for coverage. We recommend checking with your insurance
provider. We're happy to help you navigate this process.
Wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing that allows easy access to
the area being treated. Athletic wear like shorts and t-shirts works
well. Avoid restrictive clothing like jeans or tight dresses.
Initial evaluations typically last 60 minutes. Follow-up treatment
sessions are usually 45-60 minutes, depending on your treatment plan
and insurance coverage. We dedicate this time entirely to you—no
shared appointments.
Yes! We accept most major insurance plans. We will verify your
benefits and coverage before your first visit. Please bring your
insurance card to your appointment. We also accept HSA/FSA accounts
and offer affordable self-pay options.
The number of sessions varies based on your condition, severity, and
goals. Some patients see improvement in 4-6 visits, while others may
need 12-16 sessions or more. We'll discuss your expected treatment
timeline during your initial evaluation and adjust as needed.
Physical therapy should not cause significant pain. You may experience
some temporary soreness or discomfort as your body adjusts and heals,
similar to post-workout soreness. We always work within your comfort
level and adjust treatment if needed. Most patients feel better, not
worse, after therapy.
We require 24 hours notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Late
cancellations or no-shows may result in a fee. We understand
emergencies happen—please call us as soon as possible if you need to
cancel.
Yes, we offer telehealth sessions for follow-up visits, consultations,
and certain types of therapy. While hands-on treatment requires
in-person visits, many aspects of care can be done virtually. Contact
us to learn if telehealth is right for your situation.
We provide one-on-one care with licensed therapists who spend the
entire session with you—no assistants or shared appointments. We focus
on evidence-based treatments, personalized care plans, and long-term
solutions, not quick fixes. Our goal is to get you better and teach
you how to stay healthy.
It depends on your condition. In many cases, modified activity is
beneficial. We'll work with you to determine what activities are safe
and create a gradual return-to-sport or return-to-activity plan. Our
goal is to get you back to doing what you love safely and sustainably.
